ALEC WALKER (played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers) Alec Walker is a study in contradictions. Outwardly he appears to be a true, old fashioned English gentleman – handsome, charming and dapper. But the façade hides a much darker truth; Alec is an exceptionally damaged soul, having witnessed and experienced far too much in his life. As a Knight, one of only fifty such warriors in the world, Alec is gifted with an incredible power and must constantly fight to stay in control of it, or he could cause untold damage and destruction. |

JOHN HENRY BOONE (played by Philip Glenister) Born more than three hundred years ago, John Henry Boone is a vampire, a member of the religious order of the Schism. Despite officially owing his allegiance to no-one, he’s found himself working with the Black Chapter a lot over the years, and he’s the one that first brings the situation with the House of Cain to Alec’s attention. Boone is a deeply pious man with an unshakeable faith in God, but his agenda is never clear, and his moral ambiguity will become increasingly difficult for the team to deal with as time goes on… |
