STATIC is a four-part mini-series from Jon Nyqvist, creator of hit MZP show Afterlife During the time their airplane is crossing the Pacific Ocean, something horrible has happened to everything the passengers of Flight 1001 have ever known. A world wide epidemic killing billions, turning them into mutated monstrosities the likes of which the world has never seen -- An endless army of walking dead. | A group of passengers on Flight 1001 from Tokyo to Los Angeles survive a horrible crash only to face an even greater threat -- A world gone silent, where every human seems to have died suddenly. As their bus breaks down in the middle of the Nevada desert, the group ventures into a nearby small town in hopes of finding new means of transportation. Their worst fears are confirmed when the town's population turns out to be just as undead as in L.A. Meanwhile, Mitsuko and Hiroshi grow increasingly worried as Madison's obsession with Jennifer becomes obvious as they track the other survivors into the undead infested town. A deadly game of cat and mouse puts everyone at risk. |
