Runtzer is the lead detective and friend of the family for years. He worked side-by-side with Duncan decades ago, and now he’s working with Brett, who looks up to him like a father figure. Runtzer was asked by Matilda to join the Team because she can use his contacts and expertise in an effort to more efficiently track down The Poisoned. However, a buried secret between Runtzer and Duncan could spell the end of their former friendship.
