Violet "Vi" Morgan is sixteen and thinks her life is pretty normal - two overbearing parents, a genius brother and a cranky older sister. Within the first few days of starting at her new school, Vi makes new friends, new enemies and then, well, dies. It's only then that things start to get really weird. She is hired by a mysterious company known only as 'The Company,' to complete strange missions back in the real world - and help fix a few lives!	When Duncan Truant is released from prison after 21 years, his celebration is cut short when he realizes that the world he once knew is completely gone.His hopes of reconciling with his family are cut short when his mysterious mother shows up and introduces him to his new life: stopping a group of monstrous humans known as The Poisoned, before they're able to destroy the world they once called home.	A young girl, out in the city of Chicago on her own and dealing with being the daughter of a convicted serial killer, moves into a new apartment for a fresh start and a chance to try and prove her father's innocence. But then a parcel is delivered. A simple parcel. Its contents are bizarre. Their abilities even stranger. And now, faced with ongoing personal crises and a collection of weird and wonderful people looking to take advantage, this girl is about to learn the one unquestionable, undeniable truth: being an adult sucks.

Half an hour later, five of the missing passengers mysteriously reappear.	In the year 2162, in the shadow of the birth of the United Federation of Planets, one man finds himself thrust headlong on a journey unlike anything he ever imagined. Jacob 'Bow' Arrow, a former soldier scarred by the horrors of a devastating war, in a quest to prove the existence of time travel, is flung straight into the path of the UTS (United Time Ship) Premonition, a Starfleet vessel from a very different time on a very unusual mission.
