It'll have to wait a week so I can finish the essays I've been procrastinating, but once I graduate I'll be looking around for new things to read and review. You may now submit your bribes to me, folks. ;)

THANKS A LOT for all your kind words, chaps and chapettes!

We're very much open to any and all suggestions and offers to come on board and join us in the future.

And Brit - if we in any way have convinced you to start reading and reviewing more, then it was all worth it.  thup

Enjoyed the first podcast. Roll on more!

Having been a member/lurker about here from late 2005 onwards I vaguely remember reading the Lara Croft Genesis script but the showrunner's attitude was the more memorable bit for me. Insightful discussion about pilots and what makes a good/bad one. This has also made me want to get more active (try to banish my more lurkerish tendencies) and review more. Found the discussion about the history of how pilots were picked up from the early days to now a little nostalgic and reminded how far MZP has come.

Like Dino I'd also be interested in joining in the future whenever that might be.  :-P

Come on, episode 2!

EDIT - Forgot to add, I just love your scottish accent Trix.

Great to hear (or read, if you want to get technical), Amy!

If you do R & R more, then it's all worthwhile.

And I'd be glad to welcome you aboard on a future episode, definitely!

Thanks for confirming, as well, Amy - Trix, you DO have a sultry Scottish accent...

I found it more sweet than sultry. Just the kind of voice you could listen to all day.

Thanks for the compliment Amy!

As I said to Brit, and echoing what Pete said above, if a few people read this and have the urge to R&R then I'm delighted by that. Easily the best compliment we can all get.

The podcast was a really great experience and I think it can only get better. It's so different than having chats in threads as it's much more conversational in tone.

There is also such a wide variety of things that can be talked about so there is plenty of mileage for future episodes with plenty of different members coming in and out.

I'm excited for episode two also :D

I know another forum that I visit that is dealing with Online Shows they do interviews but that would be cool these podcasts...to do Interviews with the showrunners and writers to get a Behind the Scenes..."This is how it works..."...I know you're probably already thinking of that but I thought I would spew out my 2..cents.

It's definitely something that's on the table. I'm sure everyone would love a look into the minds of some of the members on here (maybe not Tony and Pete's) :D

Don't YELL at me for this but I think it's really interesting listening to the accents.  Since I'm from the US and I don't have the strong accent that you guys have...It's fun.

^ No probs - the lovely Trix has been earning a lot of praise for her accent, so I'm sure she'd appreciate the love. I've not met anyone yet who likes my accent, but I'm sure there's someone out there who does!

I wouldn't say that's entirely fair, Tegan - there's a lot worse accents out there. If you had a very strong Scouse or Geordie accent, I wouldn't have chatted to you for as long as I ended up doing!

And the less said about my accent the better.

Can normal non-accent-based conversation return please?

Listened to this and thoroughly enjoyed it, good laugh and reminded me of the table talk in Figure of Eight (which I was in the other night, as it happens) - lots to think about with regards to writing in general and some memories of MZP from years back - I'd forgotten about Chris' The Idiot Box pitch, must have been just after I joined - around the time of Arcadio's "The Institute" - anyhow, great stuff all, and good to put a voice to Trix's writing at last.

That was one of the weird things, coming in and actually talking to people. I've been on here for over two years but never had the pleasure of talking to people other than in the threads so it took a bit of getting used to but it's pretty great.

I can definitely see myself using it to chat one on one or in a group about some of the shows on here or as a tool for collaborating on ideas. I encourage anyone who is interested to get Skype cause I'd be up for a chat at least :D

While I really enjoyed it, I think the early suggestions of cutting down the amounts of guests is needed. I felt we heard very little from Trix and Chris. Even Pete, who I guess was probably trying to allow others to speak, was heard alot less than he did in the other podcast (with Tony etc...) and I think that maybe it should only be three people...four at a push.

I think the non MZP ones the boys produced was alot more shared, it didn't seem like anyone was being left out to dry. Yes Chris had tech issues but he spoke very little when he was around and Trix didn't speak a whole alot more either, as I already said (repeating myself damn it!).

As I did enjoy it, the banter between Adam and Matt and the actually conversation those two shared were really interesting. However there were three others invovled.

I think it might nice to have Adam plus two guests. As much I did enjoy what I heard of Pete, as he's involved with the other, unofficial podcast, perhaps he doesn't need to be a permenant fixture here. Perhaps he can be a regular guest, same with Matt who I think I spotted said he would (and seemed to enjoy it!). It's just as it's less of an "opinionated" topic, sure there is discussion to be had but most of you seemed to say very much the same thing so it being repeated five times can be a little overkill.

BUT...just to remind you, I did still like it. I just think with less guests, it would run a little more smoothly.

Just listened to it. Suffice it to say, I'm a fan!

Agree with others that there were too many people, but it seems as though the number is going to be cut down later. Also, the length was just perfect.

My favorite part was Adam talking about Sorkin's idea for including exposition in a script. More nuggets like that, mixed in with everything else, can make this a helpful podcast in addition to an entertaining one.
