One of two made it for me.

But two of those that did were in close contention for my vote anyway.

Currently Writing: Journeys of a Timelord (Doctor Who Tales), "The Emperors Curse".
Charmed Reset Reality (Season Seven), "No Rest For the Witches".

Currently Reading: The DSR, Episode 5. Darken House, Sequence 1.

One of my choices made it, so congrats to that one.

My other pick went to the mini-pitch that I really thought was the best. A shame it didn't make it.

I'm excited to read all four of these fully drawn pitches. It's a blank slate now, so whichever one impresses me the most gets my vote.

One of mine made it. The other didn't. I reckon I know who pitched the one that did get through though. Only time will tell. Looking forward to seeing the full pitches now.

I wonder if the winner of this little competition is going to develop the pitch for submission seeing as it will already have people wanting to read it.

Goodbye to one of the most amazing shows ever created.

I agree Luke, the winner should DEFINITELY submit their pitch as a series. Even if it ends up getting Parcel-Viewed and someone else takes the reigns, I think it'd be awesome for the winner to receive the ultimate prize: a series pick-up.

There are definitely a couple of finalists (and a couple of close calls) that would make a great series, and this has probably given those writers a bit of a confidence boost that the community clearly wants to see more of the idea. They still need a good pilot, of course, but we'd hope to give them all the support they need.

Awesome stuff! Got the two I voted in the final four. Great work to those guys that got this far.

Just looking over mine a little again, my pitch, 'Human Remains', which didn't make the final, and about a virus that spreads killing people around the world, while a couple of scientists discover the only way to defeat the virus is to become the living dead (ie. Vampires) and form a small group that fight to survive and learn in order to live, they must feed on the dead.

I discovered it is only slightly similar to Blood Borne by Brian 2.0 in webisodes, totally by coincidence as never read his series.  Although not exactly the same, I feel it's a little alike in bits that I should put a hold on my idea, which was going to do anyway.  Plus, we have two apocolypse zombie type webisode series at the moment, and concentrating more on my current writings of cursed anyway.  Who knows down the line though.

Cheers to any of the 3 votes I did pick up though, appreciate them :)  Certainly enjoyed the whole competition idea, although I rushed mine a little as struggled a bit at first to come up with something from the two phrases.  Please find something a little easier next time  :-P

Now, Vaughn said we could say which we voted for, and nobody did! Terrible waste of a loophole!

I voted for MurderBowl and Life With Death. The former sounded like a hell of a lot of fun (and tapped into my Hunger Games love), and the latter sounded absolutely hilarious. Patrick Wilson and Natalie Zea as Death and a stripper? I was there with bells on. (Sadly, I was the only one. WTF, MZP? I love you but we need to talk. Mystery pitcher... pilot please?)

That said, I was tempted to vote for all of the finalists, so I'm not gutted. Looking forward to what the extended versions of them look like... and to see them all unmasked! :D

I voted for MurderBowl - like Alden said, it sounded like plenty of fun (a show about murder is fun?! What is wrong with the world? :D) and R.I.P, mostly because I'd love to see how the writer actually pulls it off. I thought the pitch had some pretty unique elements, which I liked.

I voted for Utopia because it's the kind of show I could see myself reading. My other vote went to MurderBowl because it sounded awesome!!!! I can't believe MurderBowl didn't make it :(

I voted for Murder Bowl too!

I demand a recount. :D

(My other vote made it to the top 4, so I'll refrain from saying what that is.)
