Fresh from the successful conclusion of it's third season, WALKER makes a welcome return to MZPtv in STORM FRONT, a feature length episode set to premiere exclusively on MZPtv this Christmas.
Set four months after the world-changing events of the season three finale Atlantis Rising, Storm Front will see Alec Walker (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) confronting his most difficult challenge yet, as he is forced to become a mentor to a terrified teenage girl inexplicably gifted with the powers of a Knight. But as storm clouds gather over London, the gang discover there's more happening than they've been aware of as they're forced to confront a conspiracy buried at the heart of the British government - and face a terrifying, deadly new enemy in the process.
"There's never been a female Knight in the history of the Walker universe," explains series creator
Adam Scott. "And yet, at the end of season three, Raina Davidov was revealed to be just that, and now Alec finds himself stuck with a double-edged sword - having to be both a teacher and surrogate family to a petulant teenager who's both terrified out of her wits and gifted with powers she has no idea how to control."
The special will see the return of the familiar characters of Chloe Parker (Miranda Raison), Jackson Byers (Leonard Roberts), John Henry Boone (Philip Glenister), Neriah Starling (Sophia Myles) and John Wexler (Andrew Buchan), with Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries) reprising her role of Raina Davidov. Guest stars for the episode are confirmed to include Ray Stevenson (Rome), Georgia Moffett (Doctor Who), Ben Miles (Coupling), Oliver Platt (X-Men: First Class) and Paul McGann (Luther), with a special guest appearance by actor/presenter/comedian/national treasure Stephen Fry, taking up the role of revered former MI-16 Director Gordon Dessler, forced to come out of retirement to deal with a crisis.
Written by Adam Scott (
The Heretic, Kings Cross), Storm Front is set to debut on MZPtv this Christmas. The show's fourth season is expected in the new year.
