Just wanted to say that this show has a fan-freaking-tastic cast. And some great character icons too!

Quick question for J.B. : Will the entire first season only be 7 episodes?

No. Unfortunately real life has been kicking my ass recently and I haven't been able to finish all my banners. The first season was originally planned to be 14 episodes but has been shortened to 12. You'll might be interested to know that half the season is already written and the other half is outlined and being written. I've actually already started outlining season 2 :D!

And to everyone else who's been posting and expressing their interest, thanks a million for your support! I hope we don't disappoint in the first season, I know some of you probably have some high expectations!

Yay, I'm finally writing for an MZP show! Having read the episodes that JB's written so far and outlines for more it's obvious he's got a whole world (or multiple worlds rather) thought out and there's so much that can be done with this. Looking forward to seeing everyone's thoughts and reactions.
Hold the door!

This series looks awesome. A brilliant addition to the sci fi line up on MZP I'll definitely read this pilot when it airs in September.  :)

You're too kind!

A little heads up on development:

- I have just finished a move and unpacking, so starting tomorrow, I'm going to start working on 1.06 again.
- The other writers have their episodes and are working hard on them.
- Barring any unforeseen events, September 15th is solid and the first season will be completely aired by the new year!

thanks for all the support!

thanks a lot.

UPDATE:

Sadly we lost an episode writer, but thankfully he finished a good 3/4ths of his episode so this should only cause a minor problem in the scheme of things. The writer left for personal reasons and on good terms.

Sept. 15th still stands as our air date.

In related news, the progressive rock band THRICE, who's music actually plays a huge part in the series, has released their newest album "Beggars" on iTunes, the physical copy will be released on Sept. 15th, which is a pure coincidence. Everyone should check it out and keep an eye/ear out for their music in the show.

NEWS NEWS NEWS!

First off, Jeffery Moore has joined The Pillars writing team and will be completing extensive re-writes and completing episode 1.07 "Paradise" which will be our mid-season Premiere.

I'd also like to thank those who offered to help when we lost our writer, just one of the many reasons I love this damn place.

The website should be up by the end of the week, so look forward to that.

And I have posted air dates, titles, and graphics for all but the finale. That one will be special.

Thanks for all your interest, and only three weeks to go!

we all know how everyone here does them, or most do at least, but I had the idea for doing one like BSG

Let's hear some opinions.

I voted traditional. This is mainly because I like the 'normal' credit sequences where the actors name are there and video of them, nothing really more.

With the BSG style, especially with a VS, I don't feel the text that slightly explains the show is needed, as anyone reading should know what the series is about already.
