Been working on an idea that always seem to find my way back too. Except for this point, the story has finally started making traction again and approaching with a small twist this time around. It's The Astonishing Spider-Man. Kinda broke how am able to tie the experiment into the rest of the first season.

WHOOHOO! Lots of Ranger Updates!  a-1
I am on their first morphed fight now and I'm having some fun coming up with everyone's different fighting styles. I feel Zack and Kim have the fanciest styles, while Trini goes for the jugular.  bananasplit a-1

First major fight scene is up now: http://legato.freeforums.net/post/25133

I would appreciate feedback on it.  :feedback:

Let me know what you like and what you think can be improved.  :wiggle:

Ugh, writers block. I'm trying to get a big huge battle down, but everytime I go to write this one, I just hit a brick wall.  :dunno:

I'm writing to get closure on an audio drama project!  I have produced a few fan-based audio dramas, but I'm looking at moving out of fan productions and into Indies and have this massive backlog of half-written material that never *quite* made it into production. There is one in particular which I have been fiddling with since 2008 which, truth to tell, I've always thought it would make a great video project but I'm a realist though, it'll never happen. In Australia we don't have the resources to produce a movie length fan film especially since this is based in a niche subset of a large fictional franchise.

I've always thought that the virtual series, or in this case the virtual movie, would be an interesting media to try so I'm going to morph my audio scripts into a virtual movie script. Do you have a submission guide or style manual?

Cheers

Kirok of L'Stok

Hey Kirok - best place to start is the Project Pitch Zone to have a look round and get some initial development on your ideas down. We haven't set up any new series around here for a while but it's something we're going to be reviewing and renewing a lot this year. The site is looking into a gradual transition from script/screenplay-based works into covering more audio, video and prose series, so the more the merrier :)

I'm working on another project for the first time in a while, and I've gotta say - I'm loving it! The creative freedom in a standalone-structured series set in space is awesome!

So, despite my best intentions, my attention diverted back to my long dead Scarlet Hood story after some solid convincing from a friend. I'm not gonna lie - I'm loving writing it. I might have a pilot finished within the next week - a pilot that is far better than the first in my opinion. Hopefully I'll pitch it in two weeks or so, then push for this as a series. I seriously think this is the best think I've written in a long while...

Now just one more fight scene to jot down and I can wrap up the first episode!  a-1

Seriously excited for this! The idea is so original, and it's great to know you're really working hard on it. I wait 'patiently' for its arrival :)

Sometimes you're working on one idea, and another one demands to be created first before your brain will allow you to go back to the original one. When that happens, best thing to do is usually follow the impulses and see what happens!

Hey... It's a bit quiet in here.

How is everyone? Anyone working on anything interesting?

I've been working on a Fantasy series for a while now, hopefully ready to pitch by the end of the year - I know of one person who's a new member of MZPTV who's written a full season of a TV show who might be interested in sharing.

So, hopefully the website will come alive again soon - I'm sort of missing it.

Thank you! I used a website called Inkarnate to make it, if you're interested. And I've got some really fun plans for the series.

Hey guys - yeah it has been a bit quiet, you can blame me being wrapped up with an increasingly stressful kitchen refit at home the last few months. Planning on some reboots for this place by the end of teh year to kickstart things again, especially as the Fiction Vortex project some of us are involved in is taking off soon!

Keep me posted. Honestly I've found the Fiction Vortex concept a bit hard to understand, but I'd love to fall in with a gang of fiction writers again. It may encourage me to actually write some fiction. Not that I hardly did the first time around. <_<

You did write very good stuff, though. Plastic Love and The Red Top were great satire, and The Idiot Box 1x03 was hilarious. Bear.

Are any of you sons of bitches going to post any in-progress stuff? I was going to post some other stuff, but I would feel kind of like an asshole being the only one with anything up currently, let alone the only one with multiple things up currently.

You guys are breaking my balls.

I would post stuff, but I'm busy writing Creative Writing coursework at the moment, so I've got nothing I'm allowed to share. I don't feel like you'd be an asshole to post any more, though.

I haven't written anything creative for years now :( Time and energy are a factor. Hopefully the regeneration of this place will inspire me

I'll try and get a pitch up at some point, just to flex some muscles

Alright, I posted two projects that have been in development hell. I do feel like an asshole, and I hope that people follow suit with their own stuff, as this is supposed to be the sort of thing that we're about now.

I've started writing articles or small capsule reviews on music for a couple of web-sites. My interest in writing has waned, but in its place an interest in running has kicked in.

I'd love to write something again - but I don't think I'll have the time/attention-span to focus on it.

I’m busy on my book but I am finding time to write some X-Files fanfic for my podcast community, which should be fun.
