An apology

Good day,

I don't think this is going to come as a shock to anyone, but please, for the time being, consider Vow as the final episode of Fate.

I would like to apologise for this. No one is more disappointed in myself than I am. I have been trying with poor results to continue writing. I've written four episodes of season 2, limped through two outlines and come to a grinding halt. I can't visualise myself finishing, which is 100% my problem.

I really, really wanted this piece of fandom to come to its natural conclusion. I'd always intended the season one finale to be bookended, and I hope this will help you feel a little less cheated and annoyed at my failure.

There are so many more original stories out there on the board. I think this minor sting will be soothed quickly by diving into the legendary shows that MZP has produced over the years (Because I had to sneak in a plug for Afterlife somewhere  ).

Seriously though, I understand better than anyone the hurdles of writing a VS on your own, so I'll offer you my full support and understanding. Of course, that said, I'll still be secretly hoping an Eureka moment floats your way, prompting you to pick up the proverbial pen once more.

It was a decent story Claire, and the only one where I actually enjoyed reading about Dawn, given how much I detested her character.

While it's sad to see you have decided to end Fate there is no need to apologise. Everyone understands that sometimes there is limitations to just what you can do.

Hopefully one day you will get the chance to finish this off the way you want to but for now I'm just glad that the show existed at all.
