ALEC WALKER (played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers)

Gifted with the incredible powers of a Knight, Alec recently had his whole world shattered after being forced to take the life of an innocent. With his team’s trust in him shattered forever, Alec took the decision to leave. Now, five months later, Alec is still struggling to come to terms with what he was forced to do … and how far he needs to go in order to atone.

MARK BAINES (played by Bill Nighy)

A veteran Knight, Baines has been Alec’s friend since he was fifteen, acting as Alec’s mentor since the night Alec’s parents were killed in a fire. Now accompanying Alec on his journey around the world in search of Michel Gideon, Baines is doing his best to get Alec to confront what he did and accept that he had no choice … but he’s genuinely afraid of what Alec might do given the darkness now resident inside him.
