Charley Whartle wakes up in the present day with absolutely no memory of yesterday. As the present day progresses, it turns out to be the worst day of his life. When he wakes up the next morning, he’s horrified to discover that the bad day is repeating itself over again. Charley likens it to nothing more than a bad dream. But when he wakes up the next morning, it's still the same day!

A mysterious Gentleman appears in settings where Charley notices he previously was not. Before long, Charley questions the Gentlemen, whose cryptic comments lead Charley to believe that he's repeating this day over and over again because of something that happened "yesterday" -- the day he can't remember..
