When a man is skinned alive in Vancouver, Gideon Cole is both drawn to and terrified by the murder which follows the precise M.O. of the killer that left him disfigured years previously. Rachel Atherton must come to terms with what she was forced to witness as the residents of Gideon's house work to bring the perpetrator to justice.
The group worry Mark is losing his objectivity when he establishes a close bond with the parents of a missing boy. Determined to find him alive and well, Mark devotes his days and nights to doing for the boy what he couldn’t do for his own son.
Gabrielle is forced to confront her demons when a rapist targets a family from the most sacrosanct of places. But when the prime suspect turns out to have an uncanny insight into everything about her, she begins to realise she may be caught up in an altogether more complicated psychodrama.

When a video is leaked online showing the dying confession of man clearly under duress, Isaac is led to a group of veterans who are being targeted by a mysterious avenger. But as he learns more, it becomes increasingly difficult to separate the guilty from the innocent.
Deanna leads an investigation when a young girl is found who has been deprived of human contact for virtually her entire life. With language and mentality presenting almost insurmountable obstacles, Deanna must decide what is most important: reconstructing the girl’s mind or finding the person responsible.
Aaron meets a teenage boy seeking to trace his biological parents in an attempt to break free from a cycle of abusive carers. But as Aaron begins to find the truth about the complex relationships at work, including his own, he fears he has unearthed a tragedy waiting to happen.

When the elderly tenants of an old apartment building are threatened and attacked by the hired goons of a shady industrialist, the group make a stand against the demolition plans in order to bring an end to the campaign of intimidation.
Gideon comes to the aid of a woman being tormented by a stalker. While the group worry that the situation may soon escalate, Gideon must also deal with the letters being sent to him by the imprisoned Bane.
Rachel attempts to return to her job as a teacher, but is shaken by the discovery of a macabre symbiotic relationship between one of her students and a serial killer with a penchant for removing his victims' tongues.

While a home-invading killer posing as an electrician terrorizes the Greater Vancouver area, a huge storm causes a power cut at Athos House. The residents lock themselves in for the night, but they may find the burdens of their past and present fears to be just as terrifying as any genuine intruder.
When a patient in a mental health institute leads police to a set of human bones in a mass grave which presents a daunting forensic task for Gabrielle, Deanna works to determine if the patient himself is responsible or if he is under the influence of an outside force -- a figure dismissed by doctors as the psychological manifestation of his madness.
Gideon must face his worst fears when a copycat killer strikes and Bane offers inside knowledge to aid in his capture. But facing his old attacker at the prison for the first time in ten years may just be a psychodrama too far for Gideon.
