MZPtv Announces Three Series Orders

MZPtv is delighted to announce the order of three series to join its roster in 2011/2012, “Knight’s Haven”, “City of Light”, and “My F*%king Life”.

”Knight’s Haven” comes from Kyle West, based upon Gene Roddenberry’s “Star Trek”, and follows the adventures of the crew on the cargo ship Haven in the 25th century.
Formally known as “Star Trek: Knight’s Haven”, the series originally debuted in 2006 at virtual network VirtualStarTrek.com, after becoming the first original show to be picked up for production following the launch of the network with it’s three established shows (“Star Trek: Renaissance”, “Star Trek Frontiers”, “Star Trek: Star’s End”). The show was a great success, and quickly gained a large online following (to this day, some fan videos and audios can still be found via google searches). Unfortunately, production halted during the lead-up to the second season, much around the time that it’s network ceased to exist. It was during this time that its sister show, Star Trek Frontiers, made the leap to MZPtv, where it still continues to be hosted to this day.

“City of Light” is an original virtual series from brother and sister team Amy Rees & Jamie Rees. Set in Paris during World War 2, it tells the story of resistance fighter Marguerite Pelois, who also happens to be a vampire.

“My F*%king Life” is a half-hour comedy series from Freshman showrunner Sam Anderson, about the horrifically tragic misadventures of lead character Tim, inspired by TV series such as “Californication” and “Louie”.
The quick pick-up of all three series comes after the abolishment of our old Pilot Season process, and with it, the abolishment of our script order/re-write hurdles. With those gone, it was decided that all three series should be given a chance. It’s a new dawn for MZPtv!
Knight’s Haven should be set to premiere this November, while City of Light and My F*%king Life will air in 2012.
